"ICONS of ART Italian Mosaic Portraits" at the Cornell Art Museum, Delray Beach, Florida, US
15 February 2025 | 15 June 2025"ICONS of ART Italian Mosaic Portraits" will showcase a remarkable selection of thirty expertly crafted mosaic portraits of well-known cultural figures: Frida Kahlo, Madonna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sophia Loren, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Mohammed Ali, Basquiat, and others are among the featured artists .
This exhibition, which is organized by the Naonis Association, is a landmark event for the art world because it features the greatest number of these rare mosaics in a museum setting to date.
This collection, which was previously exhibited at Art Basel and in several American cities, is sure to attract art lovers as well as admirers of these celebrities.
The exhibition is curated by Marusca Gatto, Cultural Arts Director at the Delray DDA. in partnership with Guglielmo Zanette, Artistic Director of the esteemed Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, a renowned Italian mosaic school, and of the Naonis Association. He is also the creator of the Concorso Mosaic Young Talent.
