"Frida is not only a whole — she is also a fragmentation.
And some fragmentations only come together again in the depths of the canvas and the space.
Frida Kahlo’s art is a question that goes far below the surface:
“Who am I? What does my body bear witness to? What does pain tell?”
There is no definitive answer to these questions. But there are traces they leave.
“Roots and Traces” is an experience that invites you to follow those traces.
This exhibition does not offer you a look;
it places you in a look.
Here, the paintings are not just shown —
they are exhibited with their parts, with their depth.
Kahlo’s images are not just aesthetics;
