"Frida Kahlo – Emotion Exhibition" at La Cattedrale dell'Immagine in Florence, Italy
07 December 2025 | 19 April 2026The immersive exhibition will take visitors on a journey through Frida's artistic production, her intense personal life and the ideas that made her thinking so relevant and revolutionary.
It is a unique and immersive experience, capable of touching and involving viewers for about 35 minutes. During the projections, Frida's works, together with the vibrant colours and atmospheres of Latin America, take shape on the architecture of the Immersive Room of the Cathedral of Images, transforming the deconsecrated church of Santo Stefano al Ponte into a lively and pulsating environment where art, imagination and sensations intertwine.
Visitors will move between the multimedia and the physical world, passing through the evocative spaces of the Mirror Room and the majestic Immersive Room, to the educational space of the Crypt, where they can try their hand at interactive experiences that culminate in the Frida Kahlo VR Experience, where they can venture into a dreamlike universe populated by Frida's art thanks to the use of virtual reality headsets.
Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 19:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 19:30 at the Cathedral of Images, Florence, Italy.
