24 January 2021

After the success in Milan, Rome and Naples in the last two years, the exhibition will open on January 26th in Pontedera (Pisa - Tuscany).

Besides engineering constructions and complex miniature architectures, the show will exhibit real works of art: like the twelve oils on canvas by Stefano Bolcato, a very popular artist on social media who has reinterpreted, with the appearance of Lego characters and a style inspired by Renaissance portraits , icons of art history such as the Mona Lisa or Frida Kahlo's self-portrait, Vermeer's “Girl with a turban” or Magritte's “Son of Man”.

"You also did Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird by Frida Kahlo. What do you like about her?

Frida Kahlo was a fragile and charismatic person at the same time, closely linked to the history and traditions of her native country Mexico. That’s what I like about her. "
