Frida week celebrated in Port Townsend from July 7 through July 15

During the week Frida Kahlo is remembered with special activities to celebrate her birtheday.
The Deseo Carmin band will perform on the 9th of July as part of the 2nd Annual Frida Kahlo Week.
The award-winning Deseo Carmin band is known for writing and performing an original musical based on Frida's diary and named “Frida Flamenca.” (see the video from YouTube below").
Deseo Carmin is an award-winning performer known for her unforgettable performances as Kahlo where she fuses Latin, jazz, and funk with a spice of flamenco.
